About the Freedom

Freedom-Fast-Friday is a call to experience the freedom that God has provided. We are practicing Kingdom-Freedom-Mindset daily as we journey through life's obstacles and the enemy's attacks. Wether you are looking for personal freedom, financial freedom, physical freedom, freedom over addiction, freedom from abuse, freedom from anxiety, freedom from depression, or freedom for a loved one who is incarcerated. We are here to pray and fast with you!

Our hope is in God alone.

Personal Freedom

God created us all, and does not make mistakes. The enemy knows us as well, and can use so many various means to distract, confuse, and frustrate our lives. This keeps us in a cycle of bondage and prevents us from living in God's freedom. No matter what bondage you are facing, God is your answer and has freedom waiting for you!

Freedom in your Health

Our bodies are the dwelling place of the Lord. We cannot fulfill His plans for us if we are unhealthy. Our health is one of the first attacks of the enemy. Creating stress is impacting a majority of people's health and is a leading cause of many health issues. Find freedom in your health and wellness!

Freedom Mindedness

God calls us to be with Him in the present. He has instructed us to keep our minds free of worry, fear, and doubt. In Philippians it states to "Rejoice in the Lord, always!" The following instruction about God's peace which transcends all understanding, is a key in experiencing His call of freedom mindedness!

Freedom for the Incarcerated

This nation (the United States) has an issue with over crowded prisons, due to mass incarceration. The statistics clearly demonstrate that 'Tough on Crime' policies disproportionately affect minority populations, resulting in a higher percentage of them being targeted and incarcerated. Life sentences and other excessively long sentencing times are causing detrimental generational impacts on our society.

In Matthew 25:40, Jesus says, "'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'" In Isaiah 58, God commands us to to stand up for the oppressed and enslaved, and then, afterwards, He will answer our prayers and heal our lands. Life Sentences Without the Possibility of Parole is taking God's gift of forgiveness and redemption away. We must advocate for a justice system that is just and a parole system that is impartial and fair. Freedom-Fast-Friday believes in God's redemption and the transformational gift of salvation, love, mercy, and grace, and that gift was paid for at a great price to be available to all people. It's our God-given duty to help those in need.

Isaiah 58:6-7,9-10, 12

““Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;

you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”

WHAT WE DO

- Remind 'The Church' THEY have the God given power and responsibility to drive this change.

- Recruit and equip volunteers for the battlefield.

SERVICES

- Church events, conferences, workshops, and sessions to inform about mass incarceration and what scripture says.

- Giving family's a voice and platform to share their story and receive prayer and information.

- Assisting people who were formerly incarcerated begin their own business.

CAMPAIGN

Incentivize change of people who are incarcerated.

Drive prison reform.

BATTLE CALL

PRAYING FOR:

FREEDOM-FAST-FRIDAY IS A DAY OF PRAYER, FASTING, AND PETITION

1. Pray for those who are incarcerated.

2. Pray for families and loved ones of the incarcerated.

3. Pray for the government to end mass incarceration.

3. Pray for an incentivized parole be offered to people incarcerated who have met the criteria, especially for life sentences.

4. Pray for protection, peace, healing, and restoration for all involved: including inmates, families, victims, facility staff and leadership, society's mindset.

5. Pray for God to bind any and all strongholds in your life, to cast those far from you, so that He will fill you and then you may walk in true Freedom!

HOW IT STARTED

Founders of Freedom Fast Friday, met in 2015. In love, they have grown spiritually and seen God work many miracles. God working through them, they have helped many people overcome challenges and successfully navigate life's situations. Angelo is currently serving a life sentence, but we believe God has a different future planned.
